Letter from our Principal, Mrs. Lindsay Jeffress

To our new and current Christ the King families, 

It is my pleasure to welcome you to Christ the King Catholic School! Since 1953 we have graciously served families from the South Bend community. We pride ourselves on providing a holistic Catholic education that inspires our students to thrive in their community and nurtures a true love for their faith. We have a deep tradition of academic excellence rooted in our Catholic faith. We integrate strong academic rigor with our focus on the whole child to ensure that students are growing and developing into faithful and service-oriented young adults. 

With a Christ the King education, your child will become a seeker of truth and a creative problem solver. Christ the King students are provided with a foundation built on Christian values and serve as compassionate advocates for those in need driven by a social awareness that impels one to act. They will have ample opportunities to serve their own community throughout their time at Christ the King. Our students are loving, faithful stewards of God’s world and true leaders according to the gifts that God has given them. 

I continue to be excited and honored to be part of the Christ the King community. As your principal, I look forward each day to strengthening the relationships I have already begun building with all of our exceptional students, teachers, families, and staff. I look forward to working together in the years to come with the Christ the King family. Together we will form students who understand their faith by challenging them to apply their knowledge to the world around them so that they will remain lifelong learners committed to seeking truth.
